England World Cup Equipment Stolen in Kansas City

Equipment belonging to the England National Team was stolen in Kansas City, Missouri, as the team prepared for their World Cup campaign. Mayor Quinton Lucas announced that the theft occurred during the transit of the team's equipment from Florida to the Swope Soccer Village training facility.

Items reported stolen included balls and boots. Lucas stated that local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies are collaborating to trace the stolen items and apprehend those involved.

The England team, managed by Thomas Tuchel, was scheduled to train at Swope Soccer Village at 5:00 PM local time on Saturday, ahead of their World Cup opener against Croatia on Wednesday and subsequent matches in Group L against Ghana and Panama.
