Enugu APC Chieftain Resigns After 14 Years, Cites Need for Better Service

Princess Adaku Ogbu Aguocha, a prominent figure in Enugu State politics and a former senatorial candidate of the APC, has resigned from the party after 14 years. In her resignation letter dated December 30, 2025, addressed to the APC caretaker ward chairman in Nkanu East Local Government Area, Enugu State, she expressed the difficulty of her decision but emphasized the importance of reflecting on how best to serve the people.

Aguocha had been actively involved in the APC's grassroots mobilization efforts and had contested as the party's senatorial candidate in Enugu East Senatorial District. She thanked the APC for the opportunities and leadership exposure provided during her tenure.
