Eze Accuses Ohaa of Abandoning NDC Candidate in Election

Chief Sylvest Ugochinyer Eze, a chieftain of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), accused Sir Chinyeaka Ohaa and others of neglecting the party's candidate, Bishop Oscar Okwudili Ossai, during the Enugu North bye-election held on June 20. Eze stated that Ohaa and the presumed governorship candidate did not campaign for Ossai, who received minimal support from the party.

Eze noted that Ohaa was absent from key campaign events, including a significant rally on June 18, which was attended by Peter Obi. He alleged that Ohaa's lack of support was intentional, suggesting that he was collaborating with the All Progressives Congress (APC) to undermine the NDC's chances.

Eze also claimed that the election was marred by irregularities, including the manipulation of votes in favor of the APC candidate, and criticized the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for its conduct during the election.
