Maresca Praises Rodri's Impact on Manchester City

Enzo Maresca, the manager of Manchester City, acknowledged the crucial role of Rodri, who recently won the World Cup and the Ballon d'Or, stating that he is a player any team would miss. Maresca remarked on Rodri's extraordinary individual achievements, emphasizing his importance to the squad.

However, he also pointed out that the team's performance should not be solely blamed on Rodri's absence, indicating that the focus should remain on the overall team dynamics. Maresca confirmed that Manchester City is aware of the necessary adjustments needed and that signings are forthcoming, stating, “We knew already before the game the things we need to do.” He added, “We know what we have to do.

We will be busy,” signaling that the club is preparing for future challenges.
