Etsu Nupe Mourns Aide Alhaji Mahmud Sonfada's Death

The Etsu Nupe, Alhaji Yahaya Abubakar, chairman of the Niger State Council of Traditional Rulers, expressed profound shock and sorrow at the passing of his aide, Alhaji Mahmud Sonfada. In a condolence message, the Etsu described the late Mahmud as a pious, loyal, hardworking, and dedicated individual who served the emir with utmost commitment.

He noted that Mahmud was a reliable servant of the emirate, whose contributions significantly aided the smooth conduct of daily activities within the palace. The Etsu emphasized that Mahmud's death is a painful loss not only for the palace but for the entire Nupe kingdom, as he was respected and loved by people of all tribes and religions.

The Etsu prayed for God's mercy on Mahmud's soul and for strength for his family and the Nupe kingdom to bear this irreparable loss.
