Speaker Abbas Tajudeen Mourns Dr. Adamu Fika's Passing

Abbas Tajudeen, the Speaker of the House of Representatives, expressed his condolences regarding the death of Dr. Adamu Fika, who was a prominent technocrat and civil servant in Nigeria.

Fika served as the Director-General and Clerk to the National Assembly and was also the chairman of the National Assembly Service Commission (NASC). He passed away on Thursday at an Abuja hospital.

At the time of his death, he held the position of chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Council of Retired Clerks and Secretaries of the National Assembly. Fika had previously worked at the National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies (NIPSS) located in Kuru, near Jos in Plateau State.

In his condolence message, Tajudeen prayed for Fika's soul, asking Allah (SWT) to grant him Jannatul Firdaus, and extended his sympathies to Fika's family, community, and the management of the National Assembly.
