Hassan Zamani Defects to NDC, Eyes House of Reps Seat

Hassan Zamani, a former candidate for the Lagos State House of Assembly representing the Eti Osa constituency under the People's Democratic Party (PDP), has officially defected to the National Democratic Congress (NDC). He declared his intent to contest for the House of Representatives seat in the Eti Osa Federal Constituency ahead of the next general elections.

Zamani previously contested the 2023 Lagos State House Assembly elections on the PDP platform. His announcement was made during a political gathering attended by party supporters, community stakeholders, youth groups, and women leaders in Abuja.

He described his decision to leave the PDP as a necessary step to build a broader political movement capable of addressing the developmental needs of the constituency. Zamani emphasized that the NDC offers a platform for inclusive leadership and grassroots-driven governance, stating that the people of Eti Osa deserve leadership that listens, empowers, and delivers real development.
