Junior Nduka Joins SC Delhi Ahead of ISL Season

Junior Nduka, a 23-year-old Nigerian international and former captain of Remo Stars, has signed a one-year deal with SC Delhi, which includes an option for a further season. This signing comes ahead of the Indian Super League 2026/27 season, set to commence on October 10.

Nduka arrives from Iraqi club Al-Najaf FC, where he played 26 matches in the previous season. He gained prominence at Remo Stars, leading the team to the Nigeria Premier Football League after their promotion in September 2021 and winning the league in 2025.

Nduka was first called into the senior Nigeria squad in May 2025 for friendlies but did not play. He captained Nigeria at the African Nations Championship in August 2025, participating in three matches against Senegal, Sudan, and Congo.

His move to SC Delhi follows earlier links to Moroccan club Raja Club Athletic during the summer transfer window.
