FGSHLB Launches Strategic Planning Committee for 2026-2030

On June 3, 2026, Hajiya Salamatu Ladi Ahm, the Executive Secretary of the Federal Government Staff Housing Loan Board (FGSHLB), inaugurated the FGSHLB Strategic Planning Committee. This committee is charged with developing a strategic plan for the period 2026-2030.

During the inauguration ceremony held at the board's headquarters in Abuja, Ahm emphasized the importance of a robust strategic framework to guide the board's operations, enhance service delivery, and strengthen its mandate to facilitate access to affordable housing finance for federal public servants. She noted that the committee's assignment comes at a critical time as the board seeks to consolidate its achievements and respond to emerging challenges while aligning its activities with the federal government's development priorities.

The committee is expected to provide a roadmap for institutional growth and operational excellence over the next five years. Mr.

Monica Igw, the committee chairman and Director of Administration, expressed appreciation for the Executive Secretary's confidence in the committee's ability to deliver a strategic document that will positively impact service delivery.
