Dr. Emeka Ezekwe Honored at UNIZIK AI Workshop

Dr. Emeka Ezekwe, the Managing Director and CEO of Arrowconn Group and Chairman of the Port Harcourt Chamber of Commerce, was honored with an Excellence Award during a workshop at Nnamdi Azikiwe University (UNIZIK) in Awka.

The event, organized by the Department of Business Education, focused on the theme of the technical application of artificial intelligence (AI) in business education. Ezekwe, who served as the special guest of honor and keynote speaker, delivered a compelling address on AI's transformative role in modern society.

He highlighted the importance of recognizing philanthropic contributions to academic support and human capital development. During his speech, he described the current AI surge as a significant civilizational shift, emphasizing the necessity for businesses to adapt quickly to avoid obsolescence.

He warned that delays in education could lead to failures in the workforce, stressing the importance of updating curricula to address the AI skills gap and the advantages AI brings to business, including data-driven strategies and enhanced competitiveness.
