Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo has addressed accusations of hypocrisy following the release of a promotional video for the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN). The video, which encourages the public to utilize FAAN's services, has drawn criticism on social media, particularly due to Ojo's previous criticisms of the current administration and her support for Labour Party presidential candidate Peter Obi in the 2023 elections.

Ojo clarified that her participation in the promotional campaign was entirely voluntary and not politically motivated, stating that she was inspired by tangible improvements at the airport, including upgraded facilities and efficient systems. The 48-year-old actress emphasized that she would not hesitate to praise the government for positive developments, asserting that her endorsement is based on merit rather than political allegiance.
