Iyabo Ojo Clarifies FAAN Promotion Video Controversy

Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo responded to the controversy regarding her recent promotional video for the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN). The video, which showcased improvements at Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos, went viral and sparked mixed reactions online due to Ojo's past political positions.

In her Instagram post, Ojo expressed pride in the changes at the airport, stating that her actions were motivated by patriotism rather than political considerations. FAAN's Managing Director, Olubunmi Kuku, clarified that Ojo was not paid for the video and did not hold any ambassadorial role with the agency.

Ojo emphasized that she obtained permission to shoot a movie scene at the airport and was approached by FAAN to help promote its improvements without any financial incentive. She concluded by stating her loyalty is to Nigeria, not any political party, and that she would continue to support positive developments in the country.
