NAMA Warns Against Fraudulent Recruitment Scams

The Nigerian Airspace Management Agency (NAMA) has warned the public about fraudsters impersonating the agency and issuing fraudulent recruitment and appointment letters. Dr Abdullahi Musa, the Director of Public Affairs and Consumer Protection at NAMA, stated that the agency will not be responsible for any losses resulting from dealings with these unauthorized individuals.

He emphasized that NAMA is not currently conducting any recruitment exercise and that any claims of recruitment or employment offers made by individuals or groups are unauthorized. Dr Musa urged the public to exercise caution, avoid making payments, and refrain from sharing sensitive personal information with anyone claiming to offer employment on behalf of NAMA.

He advised that any recruitment notices or appointment letters should be verified through NAMA’s official channels. NAMA does not authorize third parties to solicit money for employment, and any suspected fraudulent activities should be reported to the appropriate authorities.

The agency remains committed to transparency and protecting the public from fraud.
