Chief Michael Falomo Laid to Rest in Ilesa, Osun State

Chief Michael Falomo, born on August 24, 1938, in Ilesa, Osun State, was laid to rest on January 31, 2026, at the age of 87. His funeral service took place at St. John Cathedral in Ilesa, attended by family, friends, and dignitaries, including Asiwaju Ijesaland Chief Yinka Fasuyi. Falomo was a prominent member of several elite clubs, including the Island Club, Ikoyi Club, Yoruba Tennis Club, and Ilesa Social Elite. He was also involved in various charitable organizations, such as the Nigeria Society for the Blind and the D.O. Fagunwa Foundation. During the service, Rt. Rev.
