AFAN Launches Digital ID Card and Database Platform for Nigerian Farmers

The Farmers Association of Nigeria (AFAN) has launched a digital ID card and database platform to enhance accuracy in capturing farmer identities nationwide. AFAN aims to strengthen its farmer register and provide a unified voice for farmers in Nigeria, who constitute 70% of the population.

The digital database will offer solutions to farming challenges and improve food production. AFAN also inaugurated an advisory board to engage with the government on behalf of its members.

The new digital ID card will authenticate farmer memberships and ensure data accuracy, empowering farmers to speak with unity and strength.
