Kayode Fayemi Denies Private Meeting with Kwankwaso, Clarifies Relationship Amid Political Speculations

Former Ekiti State Governor, Kayode Fayemi, refutes reports of a private meeting with former Kano State Governor, Kwankwaso, at an Abuja residence. Fayemi, the immediate past Chairman of the Nigeria Governors' Forum, through his media head, Ahmad Sajoh, labels the claims as false and urges the public to disregard them.

Fayemi emphasizes that his association with Kwankwaso is based on friendship and mutual respect, devoid of partisan politics. Additionally, he cautions against attaching partisan interpretations to their relationship.

Fayemi further clarifies his involvement in co-founding the New African Democrat Congress (ADC) coalition, alongside ex-Rivers Governor, Rotimi Amaechi. This clarification comes amidst speculations and reports linking Fayemi to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
