Governor Fayemi Denies Secret Meeting with Former Governor Kwankwaso

Governor Kayode Fayemi of Ekiti State has denied rumors circulating on social media about a clandestine political meeting with former Kano State Governor, Senator Rabiu Kwankwaso. In a statement issued by his media aide, Ahmad Sajoh, Fayemi clarified that the reports were misleading and untrue.

The false claims alleged that the two politicians held a secret meeting at Fayemi's residence in Abuja, accompanied by an old video clip showing them exchanging pleasantries. Fayemi emphasized his long-standing friendship with Kwankwaso but stressed that their relationship is purely personal and non-partisan.

He cautioned against mischievous interpretations of social interactions among public figures and reaffirmed his commitment to national unity and responsible public discourse.
