FRSC Denies Lawmaker's Claim of Recruitment Slots

A federal lawmaker was reported to have secured 50 recruitment slots in the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) for constituents, a claim that was later debunked. The FRSC issued a swift rebuttal, stating that no appointment letters had been distributed in the ongoing 2026 recruitment exercise.

Candidates who passed preliminary stages were only invited for further training and assessment, with recruitment subject to rigorous screening and statutory procedures. The FRSC emphasized that no politician has the authority to grant appointments within the Corps.
