New Tyoor Tiv Urges Peace and Unity in Gwagwalada

Chief Samuel Tyohuna was recently installed as the Tyoor Tiv of Gwagwalada in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja. During his coronation celebration on Thursday, he charged the Tiv community to embrace peace and unity as essential components for sustainable development in the area.

Chief Tyohuna highlighted that when the people unite, they can achieve significant progress and development. He encouraged community members to emulate initiatives that foster growth and to actively participate in celebrations that promote peace and unity.

Specifically, he appealed to the youth to prioritize peaceful coexistence, shun violence, and protect community properties while supporting government efforts aimed at ensuring sustainable progress in Gwagwalada. Dignitaries present at the event echoed his sentiments, reinforcing the call for unity and collaboration among the Tiv people.
