FCT Police and Army Reaffirm Security Cooperation

On Thursday, the Commissioner of Police for the FCT Command, CP Ahmed Sanusi, received a delegation led by Major General JR Lar, the Commander of the Army Headquarters Garrison, at the FCT Police Command Headquarters in Abuja. Both senior officers reaffirmed their commitment to inter-agency synergy aimed at enhancing the security of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) and promoting camaraderie among personnel from both organizations.

Police Public Relations Officer, SP Josephine Adeh, stated that during the meeting, Major General Lar acknowledged the existing collaboration between the FCT Police Command and the Army Garrison, advocating for continued cooperation in areas such as intelligence sharing and joint operations. In response, CP Sanusi assured Major General Lar of the Nigeria Police Force's full support and cooperation in maintaining security in the FCT.
