FCT Police Arrest Seven in Drug Raid on September 2

On September 2, 2026, the FCT Police Command executed a raid operation at Lobito Crescent, Wuse 2, as part of its ongoing efforts to combat criminal activities, particularly drug-related offenses. SP Josephine Adeh, the Police Public Relations Officer for the Command, reported that seven suspects, consisting of six males and one female, were arrested during this operation.

The suspects were found in possession of various illicit and controlled substances, including dried leaves suspected to be cannabis, packaged in small transparent sachets, several tablets of Tramadol, one bottle of Codeine, and a black polythene bag containing dried leaves suspected to be Cannabis sativa. The arrested individuals are currently in police custody and will face charges upon the completion of investigations.

The FCT Police Command urged residents to reject all forms of criminality and to report any suspicious activities to the police.
