Wike Claims Awomolo Set Trap Over Abuja Infrastructure

Nyesom Wike, the former Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), disclosed that Adegboyega Solomon Awomolo, the former chairman of the Body of Benchers and ex-Attorney General of the Federation, set a trap for him. Wike explained that Awomolo appealed for the construction of a road to help decongest traffic in the area.

He spoke during an event marking the third anniversary of President Bola Tinubu's administration, where he emphasized the importance of infrastructure development in Abuja. Wike mentioned that the Vice President of Nigeria would also be involved in the project, which aims to address traffic issues.

He expressed gratitude for the support from President Tinubu and called for timely action on the proposed road construction, indicating that it would significantly benefit the community.
