Wike Urges FCT Residents to Reject Senator Kingibe

Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), called on residents to reject the current senator representing the FCT, Ireti Kingibe, and to vote for former Senator Philip Aduda in the upcoming 2027 National Assembly elections. This appeal was made during a road inspection in Abuja on Thursday.
Wike, who campaigned for Aduda after he lost the FCT Senate seat to Kingibe in 2023, described Aduda as a “man of the people” with the necessary experience to represent FCT residents. He criticized Kingibe for her lack of presence in the community, asking residents if she had visited them, to which they responded negatively.
Wike emphasized that Kingibe only speaks on television and urged residents to support President Bola Tinubu for a second term in the 2027 presidential election. He assured residents that the ongoing construction of the 5-kilometre Zaudna-Kaba-Kagini Road would be completed by December, allowing them to celebrate Christmas with the finished project.
