Nigerian Defence Minister Emphasizes Intelligence Integration for National Security

The Nigerian Defence Minister highlighted the importance of intelligence integration to address the country's rapidly evolving security challenges at the Chief Defence Intelligence Annual Conference in Abuja. He stressed the need for advanced technology and intelligence operations, especially through the Defence Intelligence Agency (DIA) and the deployment of the Joint Intelligence Mission Data Analytics System (JIMDA).

The conference aimed to enhance cybersecurity capabilities and real-time coordination between the Defence Headquarters and troops in the field, emphasizing the significance of training analysts and cyber operators. The Minister also called for deeper collaboration among West African countries to strengthen national security architecture.
