Nigeria to Replace Chalkboards with Smart Boards in Schools by 2027

The Nigerian government, led by Dr. Olatunji Alausa, aims to modernize classroom teaching by phasing out chalkboards and introducing smart boards in schools by 2027.

This initiative, reflecting President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's commitment to bridging the digital divide in education, will equip every school in Nigeria with smart boards to improve student engagement and learning outcomes. The government has already started distributing tablets and digital devices to students in various states to facilitate technology-driven learning.
