FIFA Museum Welcomes Record Visitors in 2025, Plans for FIFA World Cup 2026

In 2025, the FIFA Museum achieved a record year by welcoming 430,594 visitors globally to its exhibits in Zurich, Miami, New York, Asunción, and Rabat. The museum aimed to engage a diverse audience and celebrate the rich heritage and culture of international football.

Notable highlights included the creation of "Unidad: World's Game" in Miami's Freedom Tower, new interactive exhibits in North America ahead of the FIFA World Cup 2026, and special exhibits exploring technology's role in football off the pitch. The museum also curated a legacy tunnel in New York, a pop exhibit in Rabat, and marked FIFA's 120th anniversary with presentations in Paraguay during the 75th FIFA Congress.

The museum's digital initiatives, including video talks featuring legends like Jürgen Klinsmann and Carli Lloyd, garnered over 1.3 million views on YouTube. Looking ahead to the FIFA World Cup 2026 in the USA, Mexico, and Canada, the museum's managing director, Marco Fazzini, expressed excitement about connecting football fans worldwide through upcoming exhibits and events.
