Nigeria’s Falconets triumphed over New Caledonia with a score of 10-1 in their final Group F match at the 2026 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup held at Stadion Miejski ŁKS Łódź, Poland, securing their place in the Round of 16. The Falconets, two-time runners-up, finished second in Group F with four points from three matches, having previously lost 2-0 to Spain and drawn 0-0 with China PR.

Winner Onajite David was the standout player, scoring a hat-trick with goals in the 60th, 75th, and stoppage time. Other goals came from Ramotalahi Kareem, Rebecca Adegbemile, and Tosin Rafiu, who contributed to a dominant second-half performance.
