Ondo Warehouse Fire: Police Investigate Arson Attack on Prepaid Meters

A fire incident in Ondo destroyed prepaid meters worth over ₦10 million in a warehouse belonging to an accredited meter supplier. The Command Nigeria Police Force has launched an investigation into the suspected arson attack.

The affected warehouse was part of the O'Datiwa Meter Scheme initiated by the Ondo State government to promote prepaid meters. Akinbola Oyinbo, the managing director of Active Achievers Nigeria Limited, expressed frustration over the incident and urged security agencies to conduct a thorough investigation.
