Sun King Launches New Solar Inverter Systems in Nigeria

On September 11, 2026, Sun King, an off-grid solar energy company, unveiled its expanded solar inverter offerings in Lagos, Nigeria. The new PowerHub systems increase the range from existing 2.2kVA and 3.3kVA systems to capacities of 2.2kVA to 30kVA, including 5kVA, 10kVA, 15kVA, and 30kVA systems.

These systems are designed for households, businesses, schools, healthcare facilities, and light industrial users, allowing for scalability in inverter capacity, battery storage, and solar panels. Lisbon Ogunsanmi, Sun King Nigeria Country Business Leader, stated that the expanded portfolio provides customers with greater flexibility in adopting solar power.

Additionally, the company launched PowerFreeze, a solar-powered refrigeration system aimed at reducing food spoilage, which features a 210-litre capacity and can switch between refrigeration and freezing modes. Sun King has been operating in Nigeria since 2017, with around 16,000 trained sales agents and 136 shops nationwide.

The products are available through the EasyBuy financing model.
