Boldcar Secures N70 Million Grant for Digital Healthcare

Boldcar, a company specializing in custom prosthetic and orthotic solutions, has been awarded a N70 million grant as part of the Empower Initiative, aimed at transforming digital healthcare in Nigeria. This grant, which is part of a total of N70 million allocated to a select group of women-led businesses, will support Boldcar's flagship project in collaboration with the Noella Foundation, co-founded by Layal Tinubu.

The initiative is designed to enhance the precision of prosthetic fittings, thereby reducing patient wait times significantly. The grant is expected to act as a catalyst for transformation in the healthcare sector, allowing Boldcar to hedge against inflation and improve service delivery.

The Empower Initiative, sponsored by Moniepoint, includes an intensive 8-week boot camp to help beneficiaries scale their operations. Layal Tinubu expressed pride in the innovative demonstration of the Noella Foundation, emphasizing the importance of access to funding to build impactful enterprises within communities.
