Lagos Launches Nigeria's First Integrated Energy Hub

On Friday, Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, inaugurated Nigeria’s first Integrated Energy Hub located in Oshodi, a significant step towards cleaner and sustainable energy solutions.

Developed by Ibile Oil and Gas Corporation (IOGC), the hub integrates various energy sources, including Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), Automotive Gas Oil (AGO), Compressed Natural Gas (CNG), Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG), electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure, and a CNG vehicle conversion centre. Governor Sanwo-Olu emphasized that this facility is more than a conventional filling station; it embodies Nigeria’s energy transition agenda.

He acknowledged President Bola Tinubu for fostering an environment conducive to investments in alternative energy infrastructure. The hub is strategically located in Oshodi to maximize its impact on transportation costs and energy access for ordinary Nigerians.

Mr. Temitayo Gbajumo, Managing Director of IOGC, stated that this project is part of a broader plan to establish 19 CNG stations across Lagos State in support of the Federal Government’s alternative energy program.
