FG Commends Rescue of Abducted Schoolchildren in Niger State

The Federal Government of Nigeria has expressed satisfaction over the successful rescue of abducted pupils from St. Mary's Catholic School in Papiri, Niger State.

The security forces' efforts were praised for protecting Nigerian children. A total of 130 pupils were released and handed over to the Niger State Government for reunification with their families.

The operation was intelligence-driven, with the special adviser to the President, Bola Tinubu, confirming the strategic approach. The rescued students are expected to return to Minna to rejoin their parents.
