Air Peace Apologizes for Flight Disruptions, Ensures Safety

On September 8, Air Peace Limited issued an apology to passengers affected by flight delays, diversions, and cancellations, attributing these disruptions to unforeseen operational challenges. The Chief Operating Officer, Oluwatoyin Olajide, stated that incidents included an inadvertent false fire alarm grounding an aircraft, adverse weather conditions causing diversions and delays, a bird strike that kept another aircraft grounded for several days, mandatory technical checks, and delays in aviation fuel availability.

The airline recognized the frustration experienced by passengers and emphasized that the disruptions resulted from several separate incidents occurring within a short timeframe. Air Peace assured that safety remains its highest priority, stating that no aircraft would be released for service until deemed safe by technical teams.

The airline committed to managing challenges responsibly and minimizing disruptions, asserting that safety-related decisions would take precedence over operational convenience.
