FMIST Commends NBRRI's Research for National Development

Dr. Mukhtar Yawale Muhammad, the Permanent Secretary of the Federal Ministry of Innovation, Science and Technology (FMIST), commended the Nigerian Building and Road Research Institute (NBRRI) for its significant research achievements and contributions to Nigeria's infrastructure development.

During a familiarization visit to NBRRI, he described the Institute as a strategic national asset and emphasized the need for its innovations to be transformed into commercially viable solutions for national development. Dr.

Yawale reaffirmed FMIST's commitment to collaborating with NBRRI to promote local content and indigenous technologies in the construction sector. He noted the importance of integrating proven research outputs into government policies and procurement systems to reduce reliance on imported technologies.
