Four Arrested in Rivers State Woman's Kidnapping Case
The Rivers State Police Command arrested four suspects involved in the kidnapping of a woman, Mrs Ikechukwu, aged 35, while she was attending to customers at her shop in the Aluu community, Ikwerre Local Government Area, on Saturday, 11th July 2026. The arrested suspects are Owhor Chinedu, aged 42; Isioto Waribok, aged 30; Maduabuchi Emeka, aged 34; and Joe Karachi, aged 28, all from Rivers State.
During interrogation, all suspects confessed to their roles in the crime. The police are continuing efforts to apprehend two additional members of the syndicate who remain at large and to recover the firearms used in the abduction.
