Arson Attack Destroys Four Jewish Ambulances in London

On Monday, four ambulances belonging to Hatzalah, a Jewish community ambulance service, were destroyed in an arson attack in Highfield Court, Golders Green, London. The London Fire Brigade responded to multiple vehicle explosions and found that the ambulances had been set on fire.

Superintendent Sarah Jackson from the Metropolitan Police stated that the incident is being treated as an antisemitic hate crime. Fortunately, no injuries were reported.

The police are currently examining CCTV footage and are aware of online footage believed to show three suspects. As a precaution, nearby houses were evacuated, and road closures remain in place.

The Shomrim, a neighborhood watch group, condemned the attack, expressing deep concern over the impact on emergency services and the local Jewish community. They emphasized that there is no place for antisemitism in society.
