Four Burglars Arrested in Ado Ekiti by Police

On a Sunday, the Ekiti State Police Command arrested four suspected burglars in a raid at their hideout in the Omisanjana area of Ado Ekiti. The suspects, identified as Abdurazak Suleiman (39), John Okori (27), Franci Okori (32), and Kehind Alabi (30), were apprehended following intelligence-led operations.

During the search, police recovered a large quantity of stolen items, including assorted perfumes, bath soap, alcoholic beverages, food items, body care products, cotton materials, clothing, school bags, and a 3kg gas cylinder. Preliminary investigations revealed that the suspects lived together and were linked to recent burglaries in the Ekut Quarter area of Ado Ekiti, near a waterworks construction site.

The police spokesperson, Sunday Abutu, stated that efforts are ongoing to trace the owners of the stolen goods and identify potential victims. Joseph Eribo Falad, the Commissioner of Police, reaffirmed the command's commitment to intelligence-led policing to protect lives and property across the state.
