Sanwo-Olu, Lai Mohammed to Discuss 2027 Elections

The seventh yearly lecture organized by Freedom Online is scheduled for next week Thursday and will focus on the 2027 general elections in Nigeria. The discussion will address significant challenges such as insecurity and economic issues that threaten the nation.

Gabriel Akinadewo, Managing Director/Editor-in-Chief of Freedom Online, stated that the future of Nigeria hinges on how the elections are conducted and the actions of politicians, security agents, and INEC officials. Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State will serve as the Special Guest Speaker.

Former Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, will act as the chairman, while former Ogun State Governor, Senator Gbenga Daniel, will be the special guest of honour. Eze Anaba, the president of the Nigerian Guild of Editors and editor of Vanguard Newspapers, will be the chief host of the event.
