Tetracore Energy Group Expands Under Olakunle Williams

Olakunle Williams founded Tetracore Energy Group in 2022, initially focusing on gas trading. The company has since diversified, acquiring power generation and distribution licenses, including a recent one in Edo State, where Tetracore Power Company aims to collaborate with the state government.

Tetracore operates a 40 million standard cubic feet per day city-gate gas facility in Edo, supplying numerous manufacturers and auto-CNG stations. Nationally, the company trades over 90 million standard cubic feet of gas daily, servicing clients like Dangote Cement’s Ibese plant and supporting over 300 megawatts of generation.

Tetracore's Atakobo plant in Ogun State generates 20 megawatts for local industries. The company has also received preliminary power licenses in Nasarawa State and holds Ghana’s first virtual pipeline license.

Tetracore is advancing major projects, including a $400 million data center in Ogun State with Huawei and a gas-to-liquids plant with Velocys, while developing an ammonia-urea fertiliser complex in Delta State.
