FRSC and NITT Sign MoU to Enhance Transport Training

The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) and the Nigerian Institute of Transport Technology (NITT) in Zaria have formalized a partnership by signing a memorandum of understanding (MoU) aimed at advancing training capacity and developing research in Nigeria's transport sector. The signing ceremony was attended by key stakeholders, including FRSC Corp Marshal Shehu Mohammed and NITT Director General Dr. Bayero Farah.

This agreement marks a significant milestone in Nigeria's road transport sector, emphasizing a commitment to building a safer and more efficient transport system. The partnership will enhance specialized training, research, and technology exchange, particularly in driver training and human capital development.

The MoU is described as an action framework for immediate implementation, with the goal of aligning Nigeria's transport education and training with global best practices to produce a world-class workforce capable of driving sustainable national development.
