FRSC Signs MOU with Sierra Leone for Road Safety

The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has strengthened its regional and professional partnerships by signing a five-year memorandum of understanding with the Sierra Leone Road Safety Authority (SLRSA) and the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR). The signing ceremony took place at the FRSC national headquarters in Abuja.

The agreement aims to establish a framework for collaboration in road safety management, research, and data-driven policy formulation, as well as vehicle administration enforcement and innovative capacity building. The FRSC's spokesperson, Osondu Ohaeri, emphasized the Corps' commitment to enhancing road safety administration through international cooperation and knowledge sharing.

Mr. Jame Bagi Bio, the Executive Director of SLRSA, described the agreement as a milestone in their relationship and praised the FRSC's professional and technological advancements.

The partnership is expected to reduce road traffic crashes and fatalities across West Africa, contributing to sustainable development goals. Major Gen.
