FRSC Promotes 7,472 Personnel to Enhance Road Safety

The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has approved the promotion of 7,472 personnel, which includes 2,134 officers and 5,338 marshals, to strengthen professionalism and road safety operations across Nigeria. This initiative aims to reward merit and recognize the dedication, competence, discipline, and years of service of personnel who have excelled in their duties.

According to a statement from Osondu Ohaeri, Corps Public Education Officer, the decoration of the newly promoted personnel will take place from August 26 to August 28, 2026. Corps Marshal Shehu Mohammed described the promotion as both a reward and a responsibility, urging the beneficiaries to justify the confidence placed in them.

He emphasized that the effectiveness of the FRSC relies on the quality and commitment of its personnel. Mohammed congratulated the newly promoted officers and marshals, encouraging them to maintain discipline and uphold the integrity of the Corps while striving for improved road safety.
