Fubara Supports Tinubu's Re-Election Amid Reforms

On Thursday, Governor Fubara of River State publicly endorsed President Tinubu's re-election, citing ongoing reforms and development initiatives. This statement was made during a meeting with the Southern Traditional Ruler Council, which included monarchs from 17 southern states.

Fubara urged stakeholders across the southern region to collaborate towards shared objectives, emphasizing that unity is essential for sustaining development. He acknowledged the notable progress in economic recovery and infrastructure delivery, despite current administrative challenges.

The meeting, held in Port Harcourt, aimed to promote peace and strengthen unity among the diverse traditional rulers, reflecting Nigeria's rich cultural tapestry with over 400 dialects spoken across the southern states. The council's co-chairman, Ooni Ogunwusi, also attended, reinforcing the importance of traditional rulers in addressing national issues.

This gathering was part of a series of meetings aimed at fostering dialogue and cooperation among traditional leaders to support the current administration in tackling security and economic challenges.
