Fubara Celebrates Eid ul-Mawlid, Promotes Peace and Unity

On the occasion of Eid ul-Mawlid, Rivers State Governor Sir Siminalayi Fubara conveyed heartfelt greetings to the Muslim community in Rivers State and across Nigeria. In a goodwill message released by his Chief Press Secretary, Onwuka Nzeshi, on Tuesday morning, Fubara encouraged the Muslim faithful to embody the virtues of peace, compassion, tolerance, selflessness, and service to humanity, which are central to the teachings of the Holy Prophet Muhammad.

He expressed hope that Allah (SWT) would accept their prayers and grant them health, prosperity, and peace. Fubara highlighted the pride in the state's diversity and the unity among Christians, Muslims, and individuals of various faiths.

He acknowledged the contributions of the Muslim community to the state's growth and development and called for continued efforts to promote harmony and understanding. The governor reaffirmed his administration's commitment to ensuring peace, security, and equal opportunities for all residents of Rivers State, irrespective of their religious or ethnic backgrounds.
