River State Governor Fubara to Present 2026 Budget at New Assembly Complex in December

River State Governor Fubara announced the presentation of the 2026 budget at the new Assembly Complex in December. He expressed satisfaction with the ongoing construction progress during an inspection on Monday.

The main contractor, MCC, and subcontractor for interior furnishings, Julius Berger, are accelerating the completion. Fubara emphasized the importance of lawmakers returning to the main complex from the temporary chamber and residential quarters to resume legislative activities in a permanent and peaceful environment.

The state government is committed to completing major reconstruction to enable the full operation of the legislature.
