PAAU Withdraws 27 Students for Poor Academic Performance

The Senate of Prince Abubakar Audu University (PAAU) in Anyigba approved the withdrawal of twenty-seven (27) students for poor academic performance and failure to register for two (2) consecutive semesters during its 166th Regular Meeting on Wednesday, 29th July 2026. This decision followed a report from the Results Verification Committee, which assessed the academic standings of students across various faculties.

The withdrawn students were from the Faculties of Arts and Humanities, Education, Management Sciences, Social Sciences, and Medicine and Surgery. The Vice-Chancellor and Chairman of Senate, Prof.

Salisu Ogbo Usman, praised the Results Verification Committee for their diligence and commitment to maintaining academic standards. He reiterated the Senate's and University Management's commitment to academic excellence and urged continuing students to focus on their studies and comply with academic regulations.
