Tyson Fury Seeks New Opponent, Challenges Usyk Again

Former Boxing World Heavyweight Champion Tyson Fury announced he is looking for a new opponent for November, specifically challenging Oleksandr Usyk for a third fight. In an Instagram post, Fury indicated that a highly anticipated heavyweight showdown with British-Nigerian Anthony Joshua is set to occur at Madison Square Garden in New York City, although no specific date was provided.

Fury described the venue as "iconic" and expressed excitement about the potential fight. However, in a subsequent Instagram story, he criticized Joshua as "weak-minded" and acknowledged Usyk for having fought him twice.

Fury stated, “The ball is now in your court… do you want to fight me this year, 2026, or are you calling it quits?” He confirmed that November 20 is the target date for the fight after both fighters signed contracts with Turki Alalshikh, Chairman of Saudi Arabia’s General Entertainment Authority. The status of the Fury-Joshua fight remains uncertain as no official confirmation has been issued.
