Dr Christopher Ogar Wins GAA 2026 Humanitarian Award

Dr Christopher Odey Ogar, President of the Ogar Okrache Save Alive Foundation, was awarded the Global Achievers Award (GAA) 2026 Humanitarian Personality of the Year on August 1, 2026, during the 8th edition of the event at the NAF Conference Centre, Abuja. This award acknowledges his exceptional humanitarian service and commitment to community development.

The event was organized by Mojs Entertainment Limited in collaboration with the Yala Achievers and Development Initiative (YADI). Dr Ogar dedicated the award to the Governor of Cross River State, Senator Prince Bassey Edet Otu, citing the Governor’s impactful leadership under the People First agenda.

The award recognizes Dr Ogar's contributions to philanthropy, youth empowerment, and educational support. He has been noted for his initiatives that promote sustainable development and empower vulnerable groups.

Alongside him, several notable personalities from Cross River were also honored, reinforcing Dr Ogar's reputation as a compassionate leader and advocate for community development.
