Gasperini's Roma Future Uncertain Amid Internal Conflicts

Gian Piero Gasperini's tenure as Roma coach is under threat due to infighting, particularly with senior advisor Claudio Ranieri, ahead of a crucial match against Atalanta that could impact the club's Champions League aspirations. Gasperini, who replaced Ranieri after a successful nine-year stint at Atalanta, has publicly criticized Roma's transfer activities and suggested he was not involved in player purchases.

Ranieri, 74, has indicated that he may step aside at the end of the season. The relationship between Gasperini and Ranieri has deteriorated, leading to public disputes that have drawn comments from Roma icon Francesco Totti.
