Ghana Sacks Coach Otto Addo After Back-to-Back Losses

The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has officially terminated the contract of head coach Otto Addo after a disappointing series of results, including a 2-1 defeat against Germany at the MHP Arena in Stuttgart and a 5-1 loss to Austria. This decision comes just three months before the 2026 FIFA World Cup, placing the future of the Black Stars in uncertainty at a critical juncture.

The GFA's statement confirming the decision was issued in the early hours of Tuesday. Otto Addo had been at the helm of the Black Stars for two years and 16 days, during which he recorded 8 wins, 5 draws, and 9 losses.
